From the Deputy Principal/APRIM

The Internet is essential in 21st century life for education, business and social interaction. As our children move up through the year levels their access to various types of technology increases and it stands to reason that their exploration and curiosity increases too. From the Chairperson of School Board

To our School Community

The School Board met on 20th May for our first virtual and face to face meeting, and Simon’s first Board Meeting as Principal.

Although many events have been postponed throughout the school calendar, the P&F planned and operated their Mother’s Day stall. This was a great success, and a great job done by all involved.

It is also pleasing to see the canteen reopen and as restrictions are eased, I look forward to further activities, Sacramental programs and sports events recommencing.

The school’s marketing team continues to work hard on widening our presence in the community, with new banners and future signage.

With the onset of online learning, there has been some cause of concern regarding the additional time children spend on their devices and distractions this is having on their ability to complete work efficiently. The school will provide some useful resources to help parents/caregivers deal with young children in an online environment. Should you have any specific concerns, please communicate this with the appropriate teacher.

We have seen a major increase in traffic and incorrect parking along Marian Road and Tarcoma Avenue, partly due to additional building works and restricted entry into the school grounds. We share the road with residents and the general public, so let us please be patient and have respect for one another.
