MiniLit : Leah Tragenza and Tina Hoffman

The MiniLit program is for students in Year 1 and 2 and consists of 80 lessons, to be delivered 4 times per week in one-hour long sessions. Students are tested to determine the ideal starting point in the program and are grouped accordingly. Regular assessments are then administered throughout the program to closely monitor their progress.

The primary focus of the MacqLit program for older readers from Year 3 and above, to develop strong word recognition strategies. Similar to MiniLit, it provides students with a comprehensive sequence of lessons that includes all the key components necessary for effective reading: phonemic awareness, phonics, fluency, vocabulary, and comprehension.
